Industrial Hygiene (OSHA)
Walk Through Survey
A walk-through of your facilities is conducted to determine potential sources of exposure to employees and determine health and safety compliance.
Field Sampling
Air monitoring and bulk sampling is conducted for all types of industrial chemicals and airborne particulates. We utilize the most current technical equipment available, in accordance with guidelines established by the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health.
Sample Analysis
To ensure you the most accurate analysis of the sampled contaminants, we utilize only AIHA accredited laboratories. AIHA accreditation requires stringent Quality Assurance/Quality Control programs for specific contaminants.
Written Reports
Reports offer explanations of field procedures and analytical results. Recommendations and suggestions for implementing compliance procedures, engineering controls or improved working environments are part of the report.
Programs and Training
Written programs and training seminars tailored to best fit the specific needs of your firm can be provided. For example, to comply with the respirator protection standard under OSHA, we assist in the selection of the proper respirators, develop your firm’s written program which outlines administrative procedures, and provide training for your employees.
Some of the areas of concern in your facility may be:
- Solvents
- Asbestos
- Metals
- Noise
- Total Dusts
- Carbon Monoxide
- Respirable Dusts
- Carbon Dioxide
