Indoor Air Quality (Sick Building)
“Sick building syndrome,” “tight building syndrome” and “indoor air quality” are terms used to describe indoor climates that may not be conducive to work efficiency and employee well being.
A building is designed to shield us from cold, rain, wind, noise and air pollution. The climate inside this protective shield contributes to work efficiency and well being.
If you or your employees have constant complaints about headaches, fatigue, dry skin, dizziness, light-headedness, watering eyes, sore throats, etc., you may have an indoor air quality problem.
Iowa Environmental Services can provide the following services:
- Walk through survey to determine potential problems.
- Testing to determine:
- Carbon Dioxide
- Mold and Bacteria
- Carbon Monoxide
- Air Flow
- Temperature
- Formaldehyde
- Relative Humidity
- Volative Organics
